Wireless earbuds go everywhere with us: the gym, the metro, the office and flights home. With a little care, they sound better, stay cleaner and last much longer.
How to clean your earbuds
- Remove the ear tips if they're silicone and detachable.
- Wipe the earbuds with a dry, soft cloth.
- Clean the mesh gently with a dry, soft brush. Don't push debris inward.
- Wash silicone tips in mild soapy water, rinse and dry completely before refitting.
- Clean the case: a dry cotton bud around the charging slots.
Never run earbuds under water or use sharp objects on the speaker mesh.
How often?
- Wipe after workouts.
- Clean properly once a week if you use them daily.
Make the battery last longer
- Keep earbuds in the case when not in use.
- Avoid leaving them in a hot car. UAE summer heat is hard on batteries.
- Don't let the case sit at 0% for long periods.
Better sound and comfort
- Try different ear tip sizes. A good seal improves bass and blocks outside noise.
- Keep volume moderate to protect your hearing.
